Kevin Viner @ The Falmouth Arms, Ladock, Cornwall
Restaurant, Bar & Accommodation
The Falmouth Arms is an historic 17th Century coaching Inn, with High standard Accommodation and Restaurant, situated in the Cornish village of Ladock, located between St Austell and Truro.
Kevin Viner was Cornwall’s first chef to earn a Michelin star back in the 90s. He has returned to Cornwall to bring his brand of exceptional food and relaxed dining to the Falmouth Arms.
The Ladock road was one of the early routes into West Cornwall and passed through the beautiful wooded Ladock Valley. The Falmouth Arms was one of a series of coaching Inn’s along the way, where horses could be changed, ideal location for walking and cycling also close to the Roseland peninsula, there’s only so much exercise you can do, and at the end of a day the bar and famous restaurant is usually where most guests end up! With a fantastic choice of food, wines and spirits, you might find it hard to go to bed!
Since moving back to Cornwall and into the Falmouth Arms, Kevin and Jill have restored the inn, with Jill bringing her flair for interiors into each room.
